“I first started with Desiderata in 1991 as a Student Sponsor. After four years I was promoted to the position of Sponsor Supervisor. In January of 2000, my wife Pandi and I became the Directors of the School."

"Currently I am privileged to share my experience with the students of Desiderata by instructing a High School level Directed Study program four days each week. My favorite courses for instruction are hands-on, activity based classes. I particularly enjoy Science, and round-table discussion courses applied to Social Studies. In addition to direct instruction, I assist the other Sponsors at the school with making the most of their instructional time. I also can often be found after hours 'tangled in' the school's computer network and websites."

"One of my most treasured responsibilities is that of hosting educational excursions with Desiderata students all over the U.S. Some of my personal favorite destinations have been the 'Youth Education Series' programs in Disney World Florida, and the 'Polynesian Cultural Center' in Hawaii.”
