After an initial consultation, if it is determined to be a good fit by students, their families, and Desiderata School staff we require prospective students to complete a "shadow day" at the Student Center. In doing so, they're experiencing first hand how our program works. A child's success is strongly determined by how dedicated a student is to taking active responsibility for their education.
Instructors are present to motivate and guide students, but ultimately their success is determined based on their desire to learn and master required concepts.
Desiderata School and its staff recognizes that choosing a new school is a big decision, thus the timeline for this process is largely determined by the students/parents.
Steps To Enrollment
We start with an initial conversation to determine the needs of prospective student vs. offerings of Desiderata School. Tours by appointment only.
Parent then submits a Prospective Student Shadow form and payment of non-refundable $50 deposit, shadow day is scheduled.
Pre-Enrollment Paperwork Completed.
Enrollment decision made. If space is available, start date will be set or student will be added to our wait list.
Contracts generated and financial obligations met.
